Mauro Jöhri offered during the homily at the closing Mass of the International Council for Education, while at the same time, the key to reading the work of the Secretariat General of Training in General Assembly met in Frascati from 2 to 6 May 2011. The fraternal and dialogue about the realities training was the main theme of this sixth meeting. The intervention of the Minister General OFM fr. José Rodríguez Carballo, that provision shared fraternal sentiments on challenges, perspectives and strategies of his Order in the matter of training, offered many clues to the reflection. The presence of our Minister General, Br. Mauro Jöhri throughout the course of the meeting was one of the strengths of the meeting.
The Assembly drafted a first draft of the Statute of the general secretariat of the training will be presented to Definitory. This is a step towards more accurate and functional definition of the identity of the structure of this important body for the Order.
